Karen Hollister

Financial Manager

Karen came to work for John D. Wheeler & Associates as a legal assistant in 2007. In 2013 she became the firm’s Financial Manager.

Before coming to work at the firm, Karen worked as a Legal Assistant at a law firm in Alamogordo.  Over the years she has had extensive experience working as an Office Manager, Bookkeeper/Accountant, Customer Service representative, and Human Services Manager, in both the manufacturing and construction fields.Because of the breadth of her professional experience, Karen is a valuable resource for John D. Wheeler & Associates. Karen is dependable and knowledgeable, and she is a reliable source for our newer team members as they adapt to the intricacies of our office and the legal profession.

Karen is a native Californian, growing up and living most of her life in San Diego County.  She attended college in Walla Walla, Washington majoring in Business and Accounting.  She and her husband moved to New Mexico in 2000, looking for a simpler lifestyle.  In her spare time, Karen loves traveling, hiking and exploring, reading, and spending time with her husband, family, grown children, and her four grandchildren.
