Shelly started working with John Wheeler at the Fettinger & Bloom law firm. She continued working with him when he opened his own practice in 2002 and handles all aspects of managing the law firm.
Her father served in the United States Air Force and her parents eventually settled in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Shelly graduated from Alamogordo High School. While pursuing her degree in business administration she earned her associate degree in Paralegal Studies at New Mexico State University-Alamogordo.
At John D. Wheeler & Associates, Shelly is an integral member of our team. In addition to being a highly-skilled and experienced paralegal, Shelly serves in the role of Office Manager. She provides exceptional support for our attorneys and keeps our office running smoothly.
Shelly spends her time away from the office with her husband, children, and dachshunds.

Sharry has lived in Alamogordo for many years, graduating from Alamogordo High School. After graduation, she moved to Albuquerque and Corrales, but returned to Alamogordo to attend New Mexico State University and raise her two children.
After receiving her associate degree in Paralegal Studies at New Mexico State University-Alamogordo, she continued her education with New Mexico State University and passed the exam to become a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in September of 1997.
She joined the firm on April 1, 2003. Sharry works closely with the firm’s banking clients, handling collection matters and foreclosures as well as assisting the firm’s attorneys with various cases for additional clients. At John D. Wheeler & Associates, Sharry is respected as a reliable and dependable team member and a talented and professional paralegal. She is especially skilled at liaising with clients and managing a demanding and complex caseload.
Sharry enjoys spending time with her family when away from the firm.

Janelle is from Alamogordo and graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1998. In 2000, she obtained her associate degree in Paralegal Studies at New Mexico State University-Alamogordo, and received her Certification as a Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in 2002. She has always had an interest in healthcare and in 2002, she obtained her Emergency Medical Technician Certification and became an Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate as well.
Janelle began her paralegal career when she began working with John Wheeler in 2000, assisting with estate planning and probate matters. Since that time, she has cross-trained into mental health law, and real estate. Janelle was the first employee John Wheeler hired when he began his legal career. John and the rest of our firm are immensely grateful that Janelle has remained with John D. Wheeler & Associates from its start. Having worked with our firm from the beginning, Janelle has a wealth of skills, including her knack for historical research, attention to detail, and impeccable organization, that make her an exceptional paralegal and an indispensable member of our team.
In her spare time, Janelle loves spending time with her family, especially her husband and their seven-year-old son. Janelle also supports her husband, Paul, as he pursues his small business of constructing and installing fencing and electric gate operating systems.

Taylar was born and raised in Alamogordo. She graduated from Alamogordo High School in 2015. After graduation, she attended New Mexico State University and received her associate degree in Paralegal Studies in 2016. She is currently studying to take her exam to become a Certified Paralegal.
She joined the firm on January 16, 2018. Taylar works with the Gerald Champion Behavioral Medicine unit on their mental health matters, as well as various other civil matters. Taylar is an integral member of John D. Wheeler & Associates. She is especially valued for always taking initiative and for her reliability and intuition.
When away from the firm, Taylar enjoys spending time with her dog Lucy and her family.
