Janelle is from Alamogordo and graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1998. In 2000, she obtained her associate degree in Paralegal Studies at New Mexico State University-Alamogordo, and received her Certification as a Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in 2002. She has always had an interest in healthcare and in 2002, she obtained her Emergency Medical Technician Certification and became an Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate as well.
Janelle began her paralegal career when she began working with John Wheeler in 2000, assisting with estate planning and probate matters. Since that time, she has cross-trained into mental health law, and real estate. Janelle was the first employee John Wheeler hired when he began his legal career. John and the rest of our firm are immensely grateful that Janelle has remained with John D. Wheeler & Associates from its start. Having worked with our firm from the beginning, Janelle has a wealth of skills, including her knack for historical research, attention to detail, and impeccable organization, that make her an exceptional paralegal and an indispensable member of our team.
In her spare time, Janelle loves spending time with her family, especially her husband and their seven-year-old son. Janelle also supports her husband, Paul, as he pursues his small business of constructing and installing fencing and electric gate operating systems.
